Butterfly Release & Social
Central Florida DeafBlind Junction is hosting the Butterly Release and Social at The Yard Stop Garden Center in Mount Dora on Saturday, May 30, 2026 from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The event will feature a spectacular release of 1,500 butterflies and is designed to be a family-friendly gardening with food vendors, music, and a beautiful garden atmosphere.

The butterfly releases will take place at three scheduled times: 9:00 AM, 10:30 AM, and 12:00 PM. Free children's butterfly releases will also be available on a first-come, fisrt-served basis.
More than 1,500 butterflies will be released throughout the event. Activities will include children's opportunities, educational moments about butterflies, food vendors, music, and a pleasant garden setting.
Individuals may pre-purchase butterflies to guarantee participation in the release. The deadline to order butterflies is May 4, 2026.
